As a parent, it is quite a challenge to entertain your children during this lockdown period. While you are working at home, home schooling, running the house, shopping for groceries, you want to offer your children something fun and constructive. Sometimes that’s not easy. Besides keeping fit and active, creativity is very important and good for the development of fine motor skills and most importantly, it’s FUN!
Do you have creative kids (of 10+) that like to learn how to draw and paint? Sign up for a free online art lesson.
Every week we have classes on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We work on a new art project every week and use all kinds of art materials. For example we draw an optical illusion by Escher or we paint Van Gogh’s sunflowers. We paint self-portraits, landscapes, the galaxy and so much more. We use watercolour, acrylic oil paint, pastels and coloured pencils to name but a few. During the lessons we use a Light Pad and a specially developed drawing grid. This makes drawing along during the art lesson super easy.
We teach in both English and Dutch. So besides learning to draw and paint, you can also brush up on your Dutch – bilingual education!
