It is time to draw Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet, let’s make some great pictures!
Wherever you exhibit your drawing, in the school class room or near the chimney at home, Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet will certainly appreciate it.
Maybe they will leave you a little something for your work!
In these two tutorials you can see how you can draw an easy Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet. This is what you need:
– A4 white paper
– black marker
– coloured pens
First draw a Sinterklaas or Zwarte Piet on the white sheet of paper. Make sure you center them in the middle.
It is an extra nice effect if you draw them slightly diagonally on your paper.
If you find it difficult to draw the figures of Sinterklaas or Zwarte Piet, you can use this pdf file Sinterklaas-en-Zwarte-Piet-tekening-Studio-Jocelyn
Trace your sketch with a black marker and then make straight and slanted lines over your entire sheet of paper.
From left to right and from top to bottom.
First colour your Sinterklaas with the red shades of his cloak and miter.
It looks most effective if you use the opposite colours for the background. For example, use green or blue shades for the background.
Colour it in completely. If you draw the Zwarte Piet, you can also make great effects with contrasting colours.
So for example a blue suit and an orange background or a purple suit with a yellow background. Make a nice combination.
Hang up your drawing and do not forget to put your shoe under nearby.
Who knows they might leave some pepernoten or chocolate for you…
